Courts Not Fooled by Religious Witch Hunt

"[Alliance Defense Fund] had its hands full in Kentucky, representing Timothy Morrison, a student who was forced to participate in school-sponsored "diversity training." Because the program also included a video that "instructed students to suppress Christian perspectives" on homosexuality, Morrison sued--and won. The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that silencing students because of their personal beliefs is a clear violation of free speech."

The Second Life Wife

"...for a Christian at least, the answer is fairly obvious. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus made the point that adultery (or stealing, or lying, or killing, etc.) isn’t just the physical act. Adultery actually begins long before the actual event ever takes place in the heart and mind of the individual. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matt. 5:27-28). Jesus didn’t bother making the delineation between [Real Life] and [Second Life] women because it doesn’t matter. You can commit adultery with an avatar just as easily as you can with the RL woman that controls it."

McCain's Straight Talk on Core Belief

Specifically, McCain reportedly told Beliefnet.com, "I just have to say in all candor that since this nation was founded primarily on Christian principles ... personally, I prefer someone who I know . . . has a solid grounding in my faith." McCain has been harshly, and unfairly, criticized for the remarks, and most of the criticism, ironically enough, has come from a chorus of groups that have over the years raised divisive, identity-group politics to an art form. These are the same folks who write breathless editorials wondering when our nation will elect its first "woman President," as if that should be an overriding consideration
